Book a portrait
Portraits are created with high quality materials—Sennelier and Townsend Terrages soft pastels and Clairefontaine Pastelmats. Soft pastels are highly pigmented and velvety which create rich, vibrant portraits; however, this also makes them incredibly delicate. I do not spray portraits with any sort of liquid fixative and believe the only appropriate form of “preservation” for soft pastels is to frame the artwork once it arrives at your home.
HOW TO BOOK YOUR PASTEL PORTRAIT
CHOOSE A PHOTO
In order for me to reproduce the most accurate depiction of your special person, I need a high resolution image. If you have several images and are unsure which would work best, we can choose one together.
CHOOSE A SIZE
Now that we have the reference photo, we need to choose the size of your portrait. I offer two sizes and shipping (worldwide) is included in price:
11x14”
Single Subject: $375
12x15.5”
Single Subject: $425
Double Subject: $475

PAYMENT
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book your portrait. The remaining balance will be paid upon the portrait’s completion and your approval of the digital image I capture of the final product. Payments are completed through PayPal. Once payment has been received, the artwork will be sent via UPS or USPS and I will provide a tracking number for you.
You can expect your portrait to come in a flat mailer. The portrait will be sandwiched between two pieces of thick foamboard and special paper to maintain rigidity and discourage any smudging. PLEASE NOTE: portraits are created with soft pastels and must be framed under glass for preservation.
